Question ID: 726984
I recently order a 3G cell phone from tigerdirect. Its the Razr V3x.
However its only operates on the 900/1800/1900 frequencies. My area
has mostly 850, so this phone doesn't work very well. Is there any way
that i can modify the phone to accept 850, or make it a quad-band?

Returning the phone isn't an option, and it was quite expensive. This
Razr V3x (aka: V1150), only operates on the 900/1800/1900 networks
(Tri-band). The networks in my area are mostly on the 850.
I would really like to know if there is any way to perhaps change the
internal hardware of the phone to make it a quad-band, or simply
accept the 850mhz frequency?
