I am trying to evaluate the volume (both in money terms and in
quantity term) of market research in different countries, mainly in
the western countries.
By marketing research I mean surveys, polls, focus groups etc.,
usually done by market research institutes, but sometimes also by
internal research departments in big companies.
This can include research done for purpose of marketing, human
resources (e.g., employees' attitudes) government and public issues,
election polls etc.
I am not interested in general research like pure academic research,
medical, army research projects, macro economical research or
financial research. Basically it should be the type of research that
involves, this way or another, people, consumers, voters, populations
etc., and again, if I have to define the source, it will be research
that is done usually by professional research firms. I will appreciate of
course links to the source of information. |
