How do I remove the hardtop on my 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet?
Need detailed instructions/directions. I have the hexagonal wrench tool, but

Just bought a 01 Cab....the dealer taught me to put all the windows
down, use the tool to unlock the top at the back corners first then
look at the roof line above the mirror for the red button that
controls the front lock mechanism. Once you unlock that mechanism,
then have someone assist you in lifting the top off by clearing the
back first, then leaning the top forward to clear the front
locks....should lift right off....reverse the procedure to put the top
back on. Hope you have a hardtop stand or a hoist. BTW, when you put
the top back on, you should feel it seat on the back corners when you
use the tool to tighten it down. Hope this helps.
