This question is for boquinha-ga only.

I'd like to create a word for "one hundred things of superb quality."
A made-up word. Can you think of one?

Awwwwwwwwwww, I am *truly* honored to have a question posted just for
me by my friend and colleague Pinkfreud-ga! What a bright spot in my
day! You're very thoughtful, Pink. Thank you.

Well, I've been giving this question some thought. In reading over the
comments, I've come up with a word that incorporates the varied
suggestions there. (I think I'm also flattered that Bryan has posted
on my question, too). :P

"Tonofalotta" -- One hundred things of superb quality

I've also come up with another word:

"heckofalotta" -- an inordinate amount of something

Using both words, I can make this phrase:

It's taken a heckofalotta time to answer a tonofalotta questions!

While I'm thrilled about hitting 100 as a GAR, I still hold as even
more dear my associations with such great friends and colleagues (most
of whom have answered hundreds and thousands of questions!) that I
have as part of my work with Google Answers. A search on "boquinha-ga"
on Google Answers turns up 239 results. A record of how many posts
I've made on a researcher forum turns up close to 5,000 (and that
doesn't even take into account hundreds more from an older,
now-defunct forum)!

So, thank you, Pink, for being one such friend and colleague. Thank
you for being so thoughtful to think of me and so gracious to take
some time to post a question just for little ol' me! I'm
heckofalotta-ly (the adverb form?) flattered! Thank you so much!

Your friend,
Boquinha-ga

We've been discussing it as a family. My 6-year-old daughter suggests
"La-Te-Da," my 3-year-old son suggests "Oven" (one of those
first-thing-you-see-when-you're-thinking-of-something answers), and my
husband likes my response (good man). :)Gee, can you tell why it's
taken a heckofalotta time to answer a tonofalotta questions? :P

A heckofalotta-ly fine answer! Truly oven! You are a La-Te-GA! :-)

Poor boquinha-ga, she is obviously at her wit's end trying to answer
this challenging question.

So I've come to her rescue with:

Wonderton

Perfect! For all non-cricketers, a ton is a hundred runs.

Dictionary Editors please note.

That used to be a "century". "Ton" must have come in with coloured
clothing and one day cricket. A ton is not 100 of anything - well,
except 20 lbs or 20 kg, but that is to complicated for cricketers.

I prefer "supercentury".

"primociento" perhaps

A ton is a lot of anything ...

That's the way it is in England and the rest of the world will
eventually catch up, believe me.

(Pinkfreud, please take no notice of poor Myo, he knows not what he says.)

I remember doing a ton on a motor bike - scared the life out of me.
Then a ton at darts down the pub. I would love to score a ton against
Australia, and as for my researcher earnings, a ton week would do me
fine.

Pink,

Thank you so much for the kind words, the five stars, and the generous
tip! :) You have a heckofalotta goodness in you! I'm honored. Thank
you.

Sincerely,
Boquinha-ga

Congrats, boquinha-ga

I never know how to pronounce your name and I shall be VERY
embarrassed when eventually we meet. Is it 'B O Queen Ha'?

And, if so, may I call you just Queen Ha?

Please let me also wish you and yours a WONDERTON of Joy and Happiness.

All the Best

Bryan

Why thank you, Bryan!

It's pronounced Bo KEEN ya. My GAR friends like to call me Bo. But
yes, you may call me just Queen Ha. I love having a nickname from
someone across the pond with the word "queen" in it!

Thanks for the wonderton wishes! :)

Sincerely
Boquinha-ga (a.k.a. Queen Ha)

Perhaps a Centillence

Hmm.. I could get a ton out of my BSA 650cc - no more as it had touring gearing
- very hard hanging on - the wind pressure was astonishing
