Something like 15 years ago I was watching "120 Minutes" or
"Alternative Nation" on MTV, and I saw this very memorable video. It
featured a lady dancing in a shiny (silver? gold?) tank top and
singing with some kind of bizarre-ass computer animated jungle
background. During the chorus a dreadlocked weirdo would fade into the
foreground and mumble stuff (relevation? inebriation? If I remember
right, and I probably don't, it was all words that ended with 'ation')
while the lady screamed about "something INSIIIIIIIDE!". And at the
very beginning at the video there's a short instrumental introduction
then the lady appears and screams "WOW!" to kick off the song.
Occasionally during the video there'd be a spiky computer animated
lava ball object that would rotate and move around for no apparent
reason. I've been searching for the answer for years but _nobody_
remembers this video.

My question is: Who was this band and what was this song's title?

There is no answer at this time.

Hi, I'm not a google researcher but I know the video:

It's "Something Inside (No Time for Nowhere)" by Definition FX.

You can see the video on MTV.com:

Search strategy:

Searched for "something inside" on the 120 Minutes playlist archive here:
