Here is how the issue is described....All on the right side...

ball & heel of foot feel like I've hopped a marathon (fatigued) & my
arch seems to collapse no matter what orthodic I wear. The combination
of pain & unstable footing makes me limp.

All of the muscles that surround my right hip are always tight &
knotted from being in being in pain 24/7 & limping. They actually
fight each other, remaining flexed so the only way to relax is lay on
my stomach.

The muscles in my neck (right below right ear) seem to have the same
relationship with my right shoulder/back. No position feels natural so
don't have a relaxed or normal posture. I'm constantly fighting to
look somewhat normal but it's hard because I can't see myself (unless
there's a mirror) & I can't trust the feedback that my body provides.

Here is the history of the pain. As you can see most conventional
methods of pain managment and attempts at correcting the problem have
been tried. The question is...For a problem of this nature what
unconvential methods of pain managment and/or correcting can we find.
I recently heard something on NPR about using Botox for muscle issues.

Massage/skeletal manipulation therapy x 2
Physical therapy x 4
Foot orthodics x 3
Accupuncture
Neurontin for a year
Tramadol HCL for a year

Hi, treetrust-ga!

I recommend that you see a practitioner who is focused on postural
alignment. The Egoscue Clinic has an online postural therapy program
that involves a menu of exercises designed from photographs of your
body from all four sides. There may also be an Egoscue therapist near
you. I've been through this program and found it very helpful.

You might also try to visit a physical therapist who is trained in
treating postural imbalance like those at the Hruska clinic.
