Hello,

    Name this horror movie, please!!!!!


     Here it goes: I saw this horror movie with spirits in the early
90's (1990-1992) on TV. Unfortunately, i don't remember too much of
this movie, excepting the fact that there was a big SEASIDE CASTLE,
and in the main saloon of that castle it was a big painting on the
front wall portraing a misterious beautiful woman who was moving her
eyes (scary!), looking through the dining room of the castle. I also
remember that in the above mentioned dining-room (main saloon) there
was a spiritism meeting or something like this and that outside it was
a big never ending storm (with thunders and lightnings). The woman in
that painting had a HUGE SEA-SHELL which was covering one of her
breasts.


       If somebody can find for me the title of that movie, i will be
eternally grateful!!!!!!

If the castle could be an old lighthouse, I believe your movie may be
the 1983 horror spoof "Hysterical," which features a portrait of a
woman with moving eyes.

Can you please tell me where did you read about the portrait with the
moving eyes? In which rewiews of the movie?

    Also, i remember the movie not having comic elements. It was of
great visual beauty (the furniture in the castle), i think the castle
belonged to a wealthy family (in the manner of "The Haunting of Sarah
Hardy" (1989) (TV) or "Dark Mansions" (1986) (TV), both directed by
Jerry London)).
