what i need is a summary on self regulation and how it effects our
memories on a psychological perspective, nothing else. ie. we see
something funny, but not show it, ect ect ect ect. self regualtion on
a psychological perspective, nothing more.

In brief, it says that some -- but not all -- forms of emotional
self-control can impair short-term memory and retention.

yes, this is the sort of thing i am looking for, but i need a more
comprahensive summary on most (all?) studies of this nature, there
shouldnt be too many. if posible i need to know what studies have been
done looking at self regulation and short term memory (working memory)
please if you choose to answer this question, i need to have the
references to the studies included. thanks
