I've recently acquired an additional hard drive for my desktop PC, and
I'm interested in running Linux on it. I have a copy of Fedora Core 5,
and my question is: What are some commonly encountered problems with
using this particular version of Linux? Any guidance or suggestions
before I install it? I'm not familiar with Linux at all, really, but
I wanted to do a little experimenting. What resources are there as far
as software and applications? I'd like to make it at least as
functional as Windows XP, if possible, and any resources would be much
appreciated. I've done some basic research from Google searches, but a
little more in-depth help would be nice. Thanks!
