Hello. I need to know in great detail what steps occur when a user
computer attempts to connect (HTTP request) to a remote website using
a browser. I need the answer to be very detailed, but not a
traceroute. It needs to involve detail on the DNS server requests and
replies. Default gateways. Protocols used, such as UDP for a DNS
request. Assume a basic TCP/IP suite connection. And what each layer
of the OSI model does in the process. Preferably in individual easy
to understand steps, I am tutoring someone in networking, but can?t
provide necessary level of detail. I need this answer by 2pm, NYC
time on Monday at the latest. Thanks a lot.
