I'm looking for a document (probably a scholarly paper or article from a business journal) that thoroughly compares the data quality of various vendors of historical fundimental data for international stocks. (like Compustat, WorldScope, and bloomberg for instance.) I found one such document via scholar.google. Its at http://sfb649.wiwi.hu-berlin.de/papers/pdf/SFB649DP2005-064.pdf. This is a good start but it only covers U.S. companies. I'd like to find articles like this that cover the foreign stocks as well. I do NOT want a simple list of data vendors with brief descriptions. (That's easy to find.) I want an article (or articles) that thoroughly COMPARES different vendors and gives me an idea of which one offers superior data. |
