What is the best way to eliminate oders from Rat and mouse urine and fecal matter. I am removing the insulation that contains most of the oders and matter, but the smell persists. In addition, what is the best wat to get at all of the fecal matter in very narrow attic space? As much detail and options would be gretly appreciated. |

I would suggest after scraping (with wire brush) and removing what you can with a Shop-Vac type of vacuum, that you seal the building materials with a coat or two of paint (acrylic latex). When working in a tighter space, I would purchase a longer hose for the Shop-Vac, utilizing the smallest vacuuming attachment. Again, scaping what you can with a wire brush or pipe cleaners. You might have to just spray paint the area (2 or 3 coats) instead of rolling and brushing on the paint to seal the building materials in the area. |
