What monthly average rent will a 50 year old single guy pay for
renting for a few years a decent 2 room furnished/unfurnished nice
apartment in a nice apartment building (including built in appliances such
as washing machine/dryer/fridge/oven)in the area of Rockville/Bethesda
in Maryland USA.

Being a current renter in the overly expensive area, I'll toss in an estimate:

$1500 a month is the cheapest you'll find for a decent place.  A nice
place will be around $2000-$2500 or I've seen luxury for $10,000.

There are some respectable places not too far away that are a bit
cheaper.  Summit Hills Apartments inside the beltway in Silver Spring
(a 10-15 minute commute to Bethesda)is around $1400 including
utilities.  That is the best deal I found while searching the area 1
year ago.  **The pool is amazing.
