Hi,
I need a list of AT LEAST 1100 Internet TV Stations. I've seen
about 5 programs that have 1100+ stations imbedded in them,
but I can't seem to find a list of these stations anywhere!
The format of this is very important. It needs to be in
a .csv or .xls format like this:
Country - Genre - Name - Link - Description - Type (Windows Media
Player, Real, Quicktime)
I know this will take a bit of formatting work, that's why
I've set the price at $200.
I have found a site that has about 1300 TV stations listed, but
unfortunatley it seems to have the direct links to the TV
stations imbedded:
http://wwitv.com/portal.htm
I'm looking for ANY kind of TV station from ANY part of the
world. But it is VERY important that it be in a spreadsheet
file as mentioned before.
Let me know if you need some clarifications. |

Please take a look at the format of these stations and let me know if
this is correct:
Australia - News - 7news - http://au.yahoo.com/ - Multiple Video Clips
Australia - Kids - ABC Kids Playground -
http://www.abc.net.au/children/watch/ - RealPlayer
Australia - Religion - ACC - http://www.acctv.com.au/index.asp -
Windows Media Player
Australia - Music, Sports, Movies & TV Shows - BigPond TV -
http://www.bigpondtv.com/ - Windows Media Player
Best regards,

Hi,
The links need to be DIRECT links, not just
the link to the webpage.
Most of these will link a file that ends in .asx
if it's Windows Media Player and .rm if it's Real
Player.
Honestly, I'm also more concerned with the Windows
Media Player TV stations than the others (But would
like a list of all available).
Here's a link to a program that has most of these
TV stations in it:
http://www.eastbaytech.com/ctube.htm
You can download a trial for free. But I saw no way
that you could extract the links of the TV Stations.
Also, please note it will need to be in .csv or .xls
format.
Thanks!

treysmith-ga,
I'm looking into your question, but I'm not 100% sure what you're
after, particularly with the links.
Have a look at this site of more than 800 stations:
http://xtremenewgeneration.free.fr/mkportal/tv.html
If this list were all in English, which columns would have information
that is of interest to you, and what more would you need to make for a
complete list?
And again, please explain what sort of links you need in a bit more detail.
Thanks,

Hi!
The problem with this is that 1300 stations is just too much for this
project. First we have to go to the link then since these are in
javascript files, we have to format the links to as just to have the
.asx or.rm file links you need.
Can we make some adjustments on the number of TV stations?
Thanks.

Treysmith,
I found the following website that lists around 1300 TV stations.
http://mediahopper.com/portal.htm?http://mediahopper.com/television/index.html?http://mediahopper.com/television/10.htm
I started to work on your question and would like you to check out the
xls file I have so far.
Download here:
TV Stations 1.xls

Please let me know if this information and format is satisfactory.
Thank you,
Bobbie7

Hi Bobbie7,
If you add one more column that has the
country (which should be easy as it's listed
on the site), then you got the job!
Thanks :)

One more thing, Bobbie.
If you could take the file down once
i get the finished copy, I would
appreciate it!

Dear TreySmith,
The first column in the file I provided lists the country for each station.
Do you have a deadline for this project?

Bobbie,
I would prefer if this was done by Next Tuesday.
Is that OK?

Trey Smith,
I've been working on your question all day long and I have completed
the TV stations from Albania to China. I hope to have it done by
tomorrow night or Wednesday at the latest.
A question....
Some TV stations don't provide a direct link. Should I include the
name of the station, country and description and leave the URL space
blank, or should I just skip the station all together?
