what is the best scanner for use with Paperport? I want to use a 'one touch' button to scan directy into paperport. I have a Visioneer 9020 but the driver is absolutely rubbish and fails more than it works. |

Hello! Well, seeing that you have a Visioneer 9020, I'm going to take a guess that your using Paperport version 7.X. So, if your using that version of Paperport, you have a wide range of scanners to choose from. For a complete list of supported scanners, go to this website and put your version of Paperport in: http://support.nuance.com/compatibility/ Personally, judging from the list of supported scanners, I would go with a HP scanner. I've used Visioneer scanners and I agree with you. I've owned the same HP scanner now for almost 5 years and it is still working GREAT! The supported HP scanners are pretty much setup like the Visioneer with the "one touch" design. Hope this helps. |

Many thanks for your help. I have actually upgraded to version 10 of Paperport but guess that doesn't make too much difference. I like HP products and now you confirm they work OK with Paperport and also sport the 'one touch' design, I'll give that a go. Thanks again for you help |
