I am looking for a list of all (well most will do) cars and trucks
made in 2000-2006 which are ranked best and worst for braking noise.
Can anyone out there point me to the right sources - car ranking or
consumer reports or anything of that sort -  that have this kind of
information ? Willing to pay extra $10 for someone who can actually
compile the entire list for those years and send an excel sheet to me.

My guess is that braking systems vary very little by make and model.

My guess is that braking systems vary a lot by when last maintained and
if all the components form a system that happens to amplify or dampen the noise.
