I need a step-by-step tutorial on how to create midi ringtones in Apple's
Logic Audio. This doesn't have to be too detailed, I just need to know
what sounds I can use in Logic and how to export the midi so that the
general midi file will have all the instrument information as well as
the note info. Right now when I try to play the General Midi
instruments that show up in the template, no sound comes out, so I
can't compose using these. I have tried using the Quicktime
instrument, but all I get when I export is piano sounds, no matter
what Midi channel I'm using.
I have plenty of experience using Logic to compose, using Midi and
Logic instruments, so no need to go into that aspect, just need to
know the specific details for creating ringtones.
