I think it might have been a lot but unfortunately this aspect of history was overshadowed by the atrocities subsequently committed by the Germans. I too would like to know more about this. |

NO doubt some people did die of starvation in that period, but apparently not in such significant numbers to make it a subject of discussion from my failure to find anything searching in English and German. Also, I expect that I would have heard something about starvation in those years if it had been a problem, having lived in Germany for most of the last 40 years. |

I do not believe that anyone actually diedof starvation in germany. They were one of many coutry's who were quetly electing dictators of one stripe or another.Russia was gong about the great social experiment, gernmany is about to elct A,.Hitler as chancellor in the bundesreich WHILE ITALY chose the authoritarian ruler,Benedetto Mussolini. This time period was horribly affected by the crashofv the stock market in (1929) and Germany sufferred arbitrary demands (of the treaty of versilles) that it could not reoccupy the major manufacuring sectors intherhinand (along the rhuhr) valley which Adolh Hitler ignored and Germans everywhere love him for so doing. he was aggressively thumbing his nose against the ,auslanders', anyinterference from outsiders.in Russia"untold millions died from Stalins pogromsand a lack of Food9tarvtion or siberia was ther chooiceIn Germany things were different many thousands ofgypsysand retarded(developmentally disabled) people were killed but they didnot starve to death. They were shot orgiven lethal injections because of their limited, biased, Eugenics movenments but don't raise your hands up to god ands thank him for giving us insight and understanding,For we nhad a eugenics movement that was gathering stem in both our countris of which |
