Question ID: 729644
I need to find songs which are about specific pictures and/or
paintings (not about pictures and/or painting in general). An example
would be Don McLean's "Starry Starry Night" and Van Gogh's painting.

Hi b_k_j,

The following are the songs I was able to locate that are based on
either a painting or a picture:

The Nude - Catherine Wheel

Mona Lisa - Britney Spears

The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke - Queen

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds - The Beatles

Parasol - Tori Amos

The Little Flower Girl - Jethro Tull

Impressions Of Africa -- Loren Nerell

Office at Night - Nits

The Fall of Icarus - Erik Norlander

The Meadow - Hed P.E.

Virginia Plain - Roxy Music

Search criteria:
"song about a painting"
song "based on the painting *" painting

I hope this is helpful. If you have any questions regarding my answer
please don?t hesitate to ask before rating.

Best regards,

Let's include "Mona Lisa" by Nat King Cole - to do justice to the painting.
