Hi,
I currently own and operate (customizedesigns.net) and for a long time
I've been wanting to make a really unique "Build Your Own" page. There
is one on there currently but I'm looking for something one of a kind
and automatic so I don't need to fill out 10 emails a day to people
who really aren't interested.
I need it to be multi-paged with a lot of calculations. Not only will
it need to add every specific feature and each page, it will need to
calculate the differences for sizes and option feature. Number of
steps, length, finish, and lighting system. Some finishes and lighting
systems are more expensive than others
In the end I would like it to spit out a price and an option where you
can send me an email with all the information they just entered and I
can send them an invoice if they would like.
I know this will be time consuming and you will need to get with me to
setup the specific pricing for each option.  Or, if you know an easy
way for me to do this please let me know.

Hi, 

Are you looking for a HOWTO to do this, or is your goal to get the
programming done from a researchers? It sounds like you are looking
for someone to create this for you, and while I am capable of it (as
are several of our researchers, being the talented people they are
:-), this isn't quite the venue for that type of task.

I could; describe how such a utility would be created, the tools you
will need on your website, some options that you have in creating such
a utility, what you should expect to pay for such a program and
reference a few possible venues to find such people. Doing so will
probably save you a great deal of time, and effort in your design and
development phases.

Just the programming on such a project is going to be more than 8
hours, and at the average rate the total would come to more than you
are able to bid on GA.

If you feel I can help you with specific questions, or as I described
above, I would be happy to follow up.
