Hello, I'm designing a product which needs very fast growing seeds.
They will be attached on a wicking rope made of hemp, one end of which
will be in a bucket of water. I want the seeds to germinate and flower
within 2 weeks if possible, in UK weather conditions, indoors and out.
Are there any seeds of Thai origin which will do this, and if not,
seeds from anywhere else in the world, and which nutritional
conditions will they need?
Many, many thanks,

adrian

Germinate and flower within 2 weeks! Speaking as a gardener, I think
you would be lucky to find anything like that. Especially if grown
outside in the UK.
The Brassica seed is bred to be fast, but requires continuous fluorescent light.

You may want to try flax or buckwheat. They will grow in adverse
conditions and bloom quickly but may take a bit longer than 2 weeks.

Check in deserts where a hard rain occurs only a few times per decade.
Typically the plants sprout flower and go to seed in as little as a
week folowing a very rare hard rain. Try Death Valley in google. Neil
