There is an air france commercial (played almost continually on CNBC)
with a couple getting out of an infinity pool an then sitting in sun
chairs. There is soundtrack of a very soft woman's voice that sounds
a little bit like Morcheba. I want to know who the artist is on the
soundtrack.

Hi danbo,

Since I'm not certain this is the commercial you are referring to, I
am posting this as a clarification:

"Soothing fly-by (2000/France) : One of my favorite airline
commercials of all time, even if it could advertise just any airline
in the world! In many of life's little scenes, an airplane flies by.
Whether it is through the ring formed by the fingers of a young lady
meditating, or the path followed by a father cleaning the windows of a
car, or simply the text on a laptop computer, and the plane acting
almost like the cursor. You have to see it to understand what is so
special about this plane, flying under the soothing "Asleep From Day"
by the Chemical Brothers. Perhaps their slogan is one of the better
airline slogans ("Making the sky the best place on Earth."), yet
again, no specifics on the airline itself."

Please let em know if this is the commercial and song you are asking
about so I can post an official answer.

Best regards,
Rainbow

danbo-ga,

The song is "Between Us" by Aswefall, and it's on the album "Bleed".
The female singer is Daniella D'Ambrosio.

"The musical soundtrack has also been updated: new music ("Between Us"
by the French group, Aswefall) has been chosen to replace the Chemical
Brothers' theme which largely contributed to the success of previous
Air France advertising campaigns."
