As a small child my mother, also, gave me one of these boxes. I need
to purchase 150 of for an upcoming conference. Can you tell me who
sells them (and has 150 in stock) or a company that could manufacture
them for me and have them ready by June 1, 2006?
see this url for a picture, be sure to click on the box.
(the website that has this does not sell them or know where to get
them, by-the-way)

June 1 is a pretty tall order, but you might want to contact these
folks to see what they can do for you:
Woodpak Industries Inc
Premium Wooden Packaging and Specialty Wood Box Manufacturing

Good luck.

Howdy Dr. C,

As paf states, June 1 could be tight, so a local source, either to you
or the conference, might be best.

If you could provide the city and state for both your location and the
the conference location, perhaps a researcher could source someone that
could do a fast small run of the box.

It wouldn't hurt to have a detailed description of the box; dimensions,
type of hinge(s), if the words are engraved or painted/printed, etc. or
what variation you would accept, such as a smaller size, or if engraved,
a silkscreen would be acceptable) as well, etc.

Thanks! denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher

On such short notice it will be very hard to fill this order
domestically with the expectation of recieving the order on time but
it seems at least one company may be able to do it. WOOD BOX SUPPLY
offers this 5.5 x 3.25 x 2.75 unfinished pine box for $7.50 ea (for
orders oever 51 units) and charges a bit more per box for a finish.

You could then order a "THE SECRET OF SUCCESS" decal from an outside
company and apply them yourself when the boxes arrive. Please let me
know if this is a workable solution that is worthy of being considered
an answer under the difficult circumstances.

WORLD OF BOXES may also be a similar solution.

Hi there,

I have located a company that can manufacture the boxes and have them
ready by June 1, as long as you place the order by Monday May 29,
Though I am not allowed to disclose the price online, you can speak to
them directly.
The phone number is 1-647-242-5254 and simply mention that you have
been referred by a Google Answers researcher regarding the
motivational wooden boxes.

Thanks everyone for your help. I was able to obtain the boxes from as reommended by 'paf' in the first response. Does anyone
know how I can pay 'paf' for the help? Also the phone number
1-647-242-5254 offered by tox-ga is out of service, but I would like
to tip EVERYONE who helped for their efforts. How do I go about this?
Finally, why is the answers icon not listed anymore when one searches
for the additional google services on the maun menu, on this page

Hi Dr. C,

The phone number is to the business owner's emergency line for urgent
orders and he had told me he would activate it until Monday evening.
He preferred I provide this number in public as opposed to his e-mail
due to spam. However, if you need to get in touch with him, please
let me know and I will make the appropriate arrangements for you.

Dr. C.

Glad to hear that you got what you needed, and that I was able to help.

Since you've already been charged the full price for your question,
there's certainly no need, and no expectation, that you should pay any

However, customers have been known to direct fluff 'questions' to the
attention of a specific researcher, as a way of offering an additional
fee or tip. Here's an example of what I mean:

As for your other question, I'm afraid there are some features of
Google Answers that are not working quite as they should. The e-mail
notification (when a clarification or answer is posted) is not
working. And as you noted, GA is missing from the list of Google

Hopefully, all will be rectified soon.
