I've found no evidence that the complete work exists in choirbook or sheet music form. The Hallelujah Chorus is available: http://www.music44.com/X/product/CHM04008-W http://www.music44.com/X/product/WBCH93268-D |

At the end of this site there is some information about the arrangement: http://www.americanbach.org/seasons/05-06/MessiahNotes.htm There have been later performances of the Hallelujah Chorus using one or the other arrangement by Teena Chin or John Higgins, which Pinfreud's first link says are not compatible. To me, this suggests that each made an arrangement from a recording - not from the original score by Mervyn Warren and Quincy Jones, i.e., that this has not been published. As the americanbach-org link indicates, the solo numbers require great skill - and something very difficult to capture in a score - suggesting that as a reason for there perhaps not being sheet music for the rest of the performance. |
