I need information that will help me smoothly and easily connect some
macintosh computers to our windows domain at work. The domain is on
windows server 2003. The MACS are OS 10.4 (Tiger). I haven't been
able to find much useful documentation on this sort of thing.

Hello Elhombre1,

As the comment indicates, it can be straight forward to share folders
[as well as printers] between machines. Please indicate if that is
sufficient or if you are looking at more complete integration (e.g.,
usernames & passwords on the Mac system are the same as on the PC's
running Windows).

Assuming both machines are set up to allow networking: Click on the
Network icon. All connected machines/networks should appear. Once you
navigate to the machine you want, double click and enter your name and
password. You should then be able to access any shared folders

He's asking about domain connectivity, not how to connect to samba fileshares.

The Directory Access Utility (/Applications/Utilities/Directory
Access.app) allows you to connect to windows domains. See
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/technetmag/issues/2005/01/MacSecure/default.aspx
for a better explanation on how to do this.
