I have tried to delet the whole program by going to "Control Panel" ..
"Add and Remo0ve Programs" and then delete. A window appears asking
if "you really want to delet this?" but no place to answer the
question.
I also used "Defender Pro" .. a utility program to eliminate Starware,
but after going through the process, Starware is still there and
healthier than ever.
Thanks,

Dear Tom,

Here are Starware removal instructions:
Spyware removal
<http://www.spywareremove.com/removeStarware.html>

If this doesn't help, try:
Pareto Logic
<http://labs.paretologic.com/spyware.aspx?remove=Adware.Starware>

In addition, here are a couple of programmes protecting you from
spyware, if you run them once in a while:

AdAware
<http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/>

Spybot
<http://www.safer-networking.org/>

You can also try to use them against this parasite.

I hope this answers your question. Please contact me if you need any
clarification on this answer before you rate it.

Hi,

 You are in a greater change of getting infected from
the internet if not using some anti adware/virus software.

I did get toolbar adware and similar bad objects. Not saying
that I don't get any now. But my untiadware software blocks
them instantly. It runs in the backround everytime I am online.

Personally I have no trouble at all and I use two software:

1) An untivirus - McAfee.com
2) An unti adware - Deletespyware-adware.com

Regards,
Karl

They both work great and delete spyware and other bad object!!
