I have run a web site www.chlamyteach.info on my Mac for several
years. I use a commercial service to provide domain name parking and
it directs readers to my IP 149.152.32.229 After a disk failure the
process no longer works: instead of the site readers get the Apache
'Seeing this instead of the website you expected?' message. I need to
find out what I am doing differently, so I can get my site back on
line.
The site is in the 'sites' folder of user 'mikeadams' and has the home
page titled index.html

Try repairing permissions through Disk Utility.

Yeah, that's the first thing I always try, followed by trashing plists

Maybe this was obvious to you, but did you change the Apache
configuration to look in the 'sites' folder of 'mikeadams'.
Presumably it defaults to something else.

I just viewed your site, no problems. Fascinating stuff!
