FIRST: Is there a trend--since about 2002--for more companies to pay
dividends? If so, please quantify the answer, e.g., X% more companies
now pay dividends than in 2002, or the number of companies paying
dividends has increased by X% per year since 2002. The year 2002 is
NOT important, but I want the post .com bust period (2000-2006).
SECOND: Are the companies that are paying dividends paying bigger
dividends than they did before this time period?
