When I add comments in Adobe Acrobat, then try to print (either to my
printer or to a new Adobe file), the font defaults to a "decorative
typeface" I have in my Fonts folder. How can I specify the font that
should print or -- at least -- have one that looks normal?

Hi prpro

Would you wanna reveal what version of Adobe Acrobat are you using and
on what platform (PC or Mac)?

Thanks
