I'm looking for a television advert(s) / TV Programes / Films that
feature the peice of music from an album I have just bought:

The Number One Classical Album 2006 / Track 18 / Allegretto

This is not the original peice of music which I believe to be
Allegretto from Palladio.

The advert was shown some years ago now but I am sure is well know.
The DeBeers advert is one possibillity.

If it comes right after "Vesti la Giubba" on Disk Two, I believe your
tune is the Allegretto from Palladio, by Karl Jenkins. It became
famous when it was used as background music in a series of De Beers
diamond commercials.

That is the correct peice of music, thank you for your help and the
link you provided. Do you know if it was featured in any other adverts
aswell?

Would it be possible for you to find a link to a sample of the advert,
I would prefer not to pay to view it but am willing to consider a
reasonable cost!
