This should be easy, but I don't have much time to do it:
I'd like to know how many marriages in the united states occured each
year, split into first marriages (i.e., this is the first time the
bride has been married) or second marriages (i.e., any marriage where
the bride was previously married, and is now getting married again.
This number can include third, fourth marriages, etc).
I need this data from 1957 (+/- a few years) until now (2004 at least,
2005 if available).
I'll give you an extra $10 if you can find the same data projected for
the next 10 years (i.e., an estimate of the number of marriages broken
out by first and second marriages for each of the next 10 years or
so).
If that's too hard, if you can find at least two separate (reputable,
as determined by me) sources that project the total number of
marriages for the next 10 years, I'll also throw in the $10. Only
catch: you can't use Fairchild Bridal Group's or Conde Naste's
estimates (I already have those).
Thanks! |
