I remember that at some point between 1995 and 1997 there was a song
that came out and was played on American rock stations which uses a
trumpet that sounds similar but not identical to the one Alice in
Chains used in "Over Now".  It almost sounds like Taps, but it's not. 
I understand this isn't much information to go on but this is the one
song I want but can't seem to find in my mp3 collection.

I think I know what you mean but can't think of the title. It may have
had the words Lily, Cafe or Diner in it. Maybe this will jog someone's
memory.
