is the movie Johnny sokko and his flying robot in public domain? If
so...what proof is there? Can I sell the movie myself?

This is is actually a TV series, known also as "Jaianto Robo", which
aired in the late '60s. Considering how recently it was produced, it's
unlikely to be in public domain, at least in the U.S.

I have seen many references to the television show (not movie) being
in public domain, but these claims are not official.

One thought is that it is public domain in the U.S. and maybe not
necessarily anywhere else.
