I'm a professional sculptor and portrait painter. I own two websites,
one for portrait painting and one for sculpture. The sites are
well-designed, they get plenty of relevant traffic and the prices are
the industry standard prices. People call maybe once per week, but
nobody ever buys anything. I know that there is a market for custom
painting of portraits because plenty of people do it for a living.
Same thing with selling art. Do people looking to buy artistic
services go online only to find land-based galleries, or are there
certain Google search terms that serious buyers type which I likely am
not showing up for, despite my high traffic?
