Dear phaork-ga, This International City Cost Guide available on Google cache (otherwise a password is required on the original source) gives the following prices. Tea bags (pack 25) CNY 14.80 $1.84 £0.99 ?1.45 http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:UTMgtYUxt0MJ:www.tefl.com/home/col_survey.html%3Fcou_id%3D44+%22cost+of+living%22+china+tea&hl=en&gl=uk&ct=clnk&cd=24 As a GA researcher I use my financial rewards to send the Cutty Sark tea clipper on a perilous voyage round the world to China. The captain then dashes into the nearest supermarket and purchases a packet of tea and returns as fast as possible. Providing no mishaps occur, it will be cheaper to buy tea in China than here in the UK. I can now sit down for my afternoon tea happy in the knowledge that I have had one over on Tesco?s and Sainsburys? supermarkets. In my view, knowing the price of tea in China is very important and should be referred to in any discussion or argument. answerfinder-ga "cost of living" china tea ://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22cost+of+living%22+china+tea&hl=en&lr=&start=20&sa=N |

Yes, A-F, but that only works for China Tea. Supposing you want Darjeeling? I bet that's harder to find in China. Me? I don't drink tea of any sort. Horrible stuff. |

Howdy phork-ga, Tea in China can be very inexpensive. When I was there I bought some very decent green tea for around US$1 for 250 grams (8.75 ounces). Looking Forward, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher |

I don't know about tea in China - but I know about 'Russian Dust' Rubbish that polutes the tea |
