Here is a musical niggle I've had for ages. It's a very overbearing
earthy song. I can't tell if it's from the 80's or 90's, but it
features a Clannad style (Gothic?) woman singing "I wanna know if it's
alright, I wanna know if it's alright" and the "alright" is dragged out
to 3 syllables like "al-er-right". I'm actually quite sure that's not
what she singing, but that's the only think I can think of that fits
the sound she makes.

My best phonetic interpretation of the lyrics is: "Haddano(pause) fits
on a ryde, A-haddano(pause) fits on a ryyyyyde" (Gaelic, maybe?)

I think it might have been remixed recently. I hear it sometimes as
background music on TV commercials etc. It's a very distinctive melody
and I'm sure everyone would know what song I was on about if I could
sing it online somehow ........

I've tried commercialbreaksandbeats.com but no replies yet.......

Can anyone help??
