Big screen (rear projection) televisions have a screen called a
Lenticular screen. It is no more than a piece of lenticular plastic
cut to certain dimensions. (Lenticular is the ridged plastic put over
some baseball cards that give them the appearance of movement when the
card is rotated.)
Many different companies such as Sony, RCA, Toshiba, Magnavox,
Mitsubishi, etc, order a certain variety of lenticular plastic for the
screens on their TV's. I need the contact information of a supplier
that can get me large (4x8 foot) sheets of the lenticular that these
companies get.
I have contacted a few companies found on Google "lenticular", but
they specialize in producing the lenticular marketing materials such
as the baseball cards. They could not get me the lenticular screen
plastic. |

Hi stanly22,
1. Call Union Electonic Distributors and find out if they have exactly
what you need. They have a number of lenticular sheets listed on their
website but are they in stock? Anyway, if they don't have any or if
it's not exactly what you need, they may know who to call.

Hummer,
Thanks for your help! Unfortunatly the companies that you mention do
about the same thing we do. They sell lenticular screens that are
already precut by the manufacturers for specific makes and models of
television. Actually, one of the companies mentioned is our current
screen supplier.
I am looking for the lenticular material that the screens are cut
from. I have been told that you can purchase them in 4ft by 8ft
sheets. I just can't find out where!
Thanks again,
Stan

Dear Stan,
DEPTHOGRAPHY INC. is selling 4' x 8' lenticular sheets.

Another company:
LPC Europe manufacturers lenticular sheets

Specifications

Would either of these two comapnies be a satisfactory answer to your question?
Sincerely,

Bobbie7,
Depthography says he can't do it. He just does the lenticular
advertising products and that the lenticular screens are slightly
different. He did say he gets calls like mine all the time.
LPC Europe will not respond to my emails. I really wish they would
because it seems like they might be able to help.
That is where I am at now. If I hear from LPC Europe I will let you know.
Thanks,
Stan
