Does this happen with many folders or just one or two? If just a few,
what are the names of the folders and where do they move from and to?

1. There is no such criteria as 1 or more folder. It is random. Till
date minimum folder moved is 1 and maximum are 12

2. All the folders which are moved till date are data folders. They
just move into some other folder. For eg. \current_work\client folder
might move into \d2ksource\

3. The security settings will not allow any one but administrator to
move the folder. But still it does.

You could have accidentally moved it in Explorer if you clicked and
dragged a folder to another folder. That's happened to me before.

If you grip your mouse hard, and your hand shakes visibly.. well you
know the rest. Happened to me. Had a mouse where the logic would
occasionally put the left button in "pressed" mode even when I was not
pressing it.

yaaru...

I have to wonder whether you've been using a non-Windows
defrag program or a disk utility like Powerquest Partition
Magic of late......
