who won the north of england billiards championship in 1924? was it 
albitis? perhaps in 1923 or 1925?  He was from Yorkshire (bradford or
middlesbrough); his first name was Dominic.

name of the tournament, or is it just known as the "Norther Englang

My grandfather, Domonic ALBITIS, supposedly won a North England
BILLIARD Championship between 1923 and 1925.  The competition was
between all top amatuer players from the north of England.  It was a
big competition and well known at that time. It was also held in the
north of England, but I do not know which town.  I want confirmation
of the title of the competition and the year in which he won.  He was
living in  Bradford or Middlesbrough in Yorkshire at the time.
