How can I get my MS Word 2000 to close peoperly?
I have used this program for years.
Now when I save the docs and want to close the program,,,I can't.
I must Ctrl Alt Delete to get it to close.

Have you tried uninstalling and/or reinstalling?

Have you applied any of the service packs or updates?

Did you install something that coincided with it
ceasing to work?

Does it happen if you just open Word and then want
to shut it down? Or will it only fail to close if
you have priorly opened a file?

Is this the full MS Office 2000 install or just
Word 2000?

What operating system are you using?

Do you use macros?

Do you have a virus scanner installed?
Is it up to date? Does it support macro
scanning?
