I recently purchased the Plantronics Headset for bluetooth (Pulsar 590A) and previously had been using a Logitech Mouse for bluetooth (V270) with a MSI Star Key 2.0. The mouse has always worked fine using the software/drivers from the MSI website (yes they are most recent) for XP SP2 (not 64 edition) but I cannot get the headset to work as it should. It is "discovered" and I set up the headset service, I made sure the "Bluetooth Audio" was selected under control panels -> sound (also tried "Bluetooth Audio High Quality" or something of the like), and still no sound. To clarify, it seems that I have done everything but get sound (or mic features) from the headset. I have tried fiddling with the mute and volume controls on the headset, but got no luck. I am able to use the bluetooth adapter it came with, but I want to use the MSI adapter. Any suggestions or help to getting this working? |
