Ok, I've looked up directions from Harrisonburg, VA (22801) to
Montreal, Quebec. From these sources: Google, Yahoo, and Mapquest.
Each source is about an hour apart in the "estimated trip time". I
know looking at the maps that the time can't be that significantly
different. Basically the differences are in how your get to
Interstate 87.

Who can tell me which one is the most accurate?
Better yet, who can tell me which is really the fastest?

By the way, its unacceptable to say Google just because you work for them! :)

The most interesting part of this:

Google and Yahoo both have about the same route (700 miles), but the
estimated times are 13 and 10 hours respectively.

The travel time difference obviosly can't be attributed to the minute
differences in the directions. I think that the Yahoo time seems
rather optimistic. Averaging 70mph is going to be tough unless you
don't take ANY breaks or are a real leadfoot. Most of those roads
are 65-70, AFAIK, so I would figure on 11-12 hours and use the Yahoo
directions since they seem less complicated.
