From _my_ Blackberry's main menu I click: Settings -> Options -> Security -> [click] -> Wipe Handheld. Then remove your phone's card by removing the battery and then removing the SIM card. (is SIM the right term?) |

hey brian, >>For blackberry (model 7250) Options -> Security -> "press track wheel" -> Wipe Handheld. This will clear all your data in address book and will restore to factory settings but will not remove application you have installed on it. For that you need to go to Options -> Applications -> "press track wheel". You will see the list application installed, select the application you want to delete, then click the track wheel and select delete. This will prompt for confermation, select delete and the application will get deleted. Once you are done with deleting applications then perform the hard reset again and check the device. >>For palm tungsten e2 use this link, given with image example. http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=PalmSupportKB,ts=Palm_External2001,Case=obj(887)#hard hope it solves your problem.... -sweetru2 |
