I want to find out the 10 biggest selling tobacco brands (either in
the US or in the world, preferrably in the US). I find references here
and there to "4 of the top 10" but can't find a conclusive list of the
10 biggest all together.

Howdy quizamajig-ga,

I have found:

- the top 10 from 2000 with precentages
- top 10 from 2001 with percentages for all 10 and demographics for 6
- top 10 from 2002 with precentages
- top 6 from 2003 with percentages

Would the above do as an answer for you? Thanks!

If 2002 is the most recent you have, that would do, as long as you can
state your source.

If you need any clarification, please feel free to ask.

Search strategy:

Google search on: "best selling" OR "most popular" cigarettes
://www.google.com/search?q=%22best+selling%22+OR+%22most+popular%22+cigarettes

Once I started getting results, I added the various brands (Marlboro,
etc.) and years (2003, etc.) to the search terms to find the specific
articles.
