I had a crush injury on my buttock/saddlebag area of my one leg after
being ejected from an auto. The affected buttock is numb, slightly
painful and tingly...also slight hyperpigmentation. The accident was
6 years ago. The part that was crushed on the buttock is more
indented than the other "fuller" buttock and the skin is looser.
Also, it seems that some of this "dead tissue" or lipoatropy (some
things I have been told it may be)has migrated down to the saddlebag
area, since I only have it on the affected left side. Are any doctors
familiar with this type of injury, and is there anything to do to help
it? Or does anyone really know exactly what this injury is? I know I
will never get the feeling back, and doctors just say
that I can get liposuction in the surrounding waist area to make it
look less harsh. Thanks.
