Perhaps a movie expert can help me out... I saw a trailer a few months ago for a movie that looked interesting, but I did not record the name. I'm pretty sure it was a Spanish film, but I may be mistaken. The trailer had the "L'amour est un Oiseau Rebelle" song from Carmen playing in the background. The trailer had shots of a man and a woman with clever or risque title cards interspersed. It appeared to be about a man who had either his wife or girlfriend tied up in his basement against her will, and who was playing some sort of quiz game or other test with her for her freedom. Sounds horrific, but it was directed in a very playful way that seemed to be some sort of black comedy. I remember trying to find the movie on DVD a few months ago but not succeeding. Unfortunately I don't remember the title. And ideas? | |
