I am looking for companies that offer grey market support for SAP.
Grey market support means that these companies take over the support
of an SAP installation, and the SAP customer in question stops paying
the regular maintenance fees to SAP. So an existing SAP customer would
normally pay 17% of the value of the software in annual maintenance
fees. For this, they get support services including bug fixes. Grey
market support companies take over those support services for a lower
percentage. It's important to differentiate between grey market
support and outsourced support. Outsourced support means that the
users of an SAP customer will call an outsourced helpdesk if they have
a question. That's not grey market support, because the customer in
this case will still keep on paying SAP the 17% to get bug fixes.
