What is the most effective treatment for reducing the appearance of
MATURE and DEEP stretch marks (assuming there is one)? I understand
that there are no real "cures" for stretch marks, but would
micro-dermabrasion lessen the deepness of my stretch marks, since I am
peeling a layer of skin off? I have read of various treatments such as
micro-dermabrasion, laser, TCA Peel, and Retin-A. However, according
to Dr. Loftus (http://www.infoplasticsurgery.com/bodycontouring/stretchmarks.html),
lasers are not effective:

"Although some physicians claim that lasers are effective in removing
stretch marks, there is no evidence to support this."

And a TCA peel could cause permanent burn damage, and Retin-A only
works on fresh stretch marks. So would micro-dermabrasion be my only
answer?
