"Prevpac is a prepackaged combination of drugs designed to cure
duodenal ulcers caused by H. pylori bacteria, the most common source
of ulcers. With two antibiotics and an acid-blocking agent, Prevpac
will eradicate the H. pylori infection and improve your odds of
remaining ulcer-free..."

How should you take this medication?
"Each pack contains a full day's supply of medication, consisting of
two 30-milligram capsules of lansoprazole (Prevacid), four
500-milligram capsules of amoxicillin, and two 500-milligram tablets
of clarithromycin (Biaxin). Take half the supply before breakfast and
the remainder before dinner. Swallow each pill whole; do not crush or
chew."

Recommended dosage - ADULTS 
"The recommended dosage is 1 capsule of lansoprazole (Prevacid), 2
capsules of amoxicillin, and 1 tablet of clarithromycin (Biaxin) taken
together twice a day (morning and evening) for 14 days."

HOW SUPPLIED 
PREVPAC is supplied as an individual daily administration pack, each containing: 

PREVACID: 
¾ two opaque, hard gelatin, black and pink PREVACID 30-mg capsules,
with the TAP logo and "PREVACID 30" imprinted on the capsules.

TRIMOX: 
¾ four flesh body/maroon cap amoxicillin 500-mg capsules, USP, printed
with "BRISTOL 7279" in black ink on both body and cap.

BIAXIN Filmtab: 
¾ two yellow oval film-coated clarithromycin 500-mg tablets, USP,
debossed with the Abbott logo on one side and "KL" on the other side
of the tablets.
