Question ID: 733171
looking to buy engagement ring - these sites have good wholesale
prices but are they to be trusted? Will i recieve what i order? They
both give stats on all diamonds/rings (the 4 C's) - would these stats
be correct - would they get away with rating diamonds incorrectly?
www.primestyle.com
www.diamondsafe.com

thanks jbee-ga :) I thought I should add that I am most interested in
www.primestyle.com if my price isn't high enough to check the two
sites.

thru my own research i have discoved that primestyle.com is definately
a scam. Most of the time they send the products but the quality is
terrible and nothing like they say on site :( as for
diamondsafe.com???

Thanks politicalguru-ga, yes that does answer my question - i have now
found quite a few sites I feel i can trust. Inc. mondera.com,
blue-nile.com. I am so glad i didn't buy from primestlye.com - what a
disaster that would have been!

I'm NOT sure about over there in America, but here in the UK if you
purchase something with your credit card and it doesn't arrive, comes
broken or not as described then you can simply phone up your card
company (Visa, Mastercard etc.) and they credit the money back to your
account and it is then their responsibility to sort out the problem.

The Primestyle website looks very professional. Also, they accept
Paypal. Paypal is a secure money transfer service and they also have
resolution measures for if the buyer or seller is unhappy with the
purchase, so this is another option.

The only potential risk I see is that you will not get the diamond
quality you paid for, if this happens you can hopefully speak to your
credit card company or ask Paypal to resolve the situation.

Hope this helps.
